Marisa had been teaching Lalo to be a good dog.

Sometimes he obeyed. Sometimes he didn’t.

Marisa said:“Come!” But Lalo didn’t come.

She said, “Roll over!” But Lalo didn’t roll over.

“Let’s go for a walk,” said Mom. “Maybe that will help.”

Outside, Lalo ran this way and that.

Marisa said, “By my side.”

Lalo walked by her side.

A squirrel ran across the road.

Marisa said, “Sit!” Lalo sat.

Their neighbor, Mr. Brown, stopped to say hello.

Lalo jumped on him.
拉罗跳到他身上。
Marisa said:“Down!” Lalo lay down.
玛丽莎说：“下来！”拉罗就趴下来。
“What a good dog!” said Mr. Brown.
“真是只听话的狗狗”布朗先生说。
“He has a good teacher,” said Mom.
“他有一个好老师。” 妈妈说。
“Woof!” said Lalo.
拉罗也喊了一声“汪！”。
